The achievements of Al-Shoubak Municipality in a few lines
The municipality is from the 2nd class.
It's consisting of 3 areas: Al-Shoubak, Hamza, and Abdalea.
The number of the municipality's labors is 57, 10 of them aren't Jordanians.
The municipality is using the computers and has a very development machines.
The budget of 2008 is about 600.000 JD.
The adductions of the municipality is about 90.000 JD. , it's about %15 of the budget.
The amount of the yearly ceremony is about 200.000JD. , it's about %33 of the budget.
Al-Shoubak municipality is the only community in Jordan – neither Amanat Amman – which awarded the International Organization for Standardization Certificate ( ISO9001:2000)
Al-Shoubak municipality is the third municipality in Jordan after Irpiad and Ramtha that displaying the dividing system of the lands.
The GIS department (The geographic information system) is using to develop all the organizations designs for all the areas.
The municipality has a Satellite Image for Al-Shoubak was taken by the American Satellite QUICK BIRD that covers about 100KM2.
In the municipality there is a development unity was established in August 2006, this unity did an economy and society studding for all the families in Al-Shoubak using questionnaire is done by GTZ.
The projects were done in 2007
Some courses were done in the entire field for all the municipality labors.
Construct the roads / at the first stage about 60.000JD of the budget.
Construct the roads / at the 2nd stage 35.000 JD of the budget.
Hot mixtures is about 136.000 JD / as a loan from The Bank Of Cities & Villages Development .
The dividing project for Baqa'ah southern lands is about (3500) dounom about 60.000 JD of the budget.
Project for building 4 flats is about 86.000 JD of the budget.
Garden and children library is about 56.000 JD of the budget for the first stage.
Construct the roads / third stage about 27.000 JD.
Projects will do from the budget of 2008
Construct the roads, the cost is about 90.000 JD from the budget.
Taking possession, the cost is about 60.000 JD from the budget to build a new building for the municipality.
Complete the garden and children library project in Baqa'ah area by a cost about 40.000 JD from the budget.
Doing the 2nd stage of the dividing law for 3 areas that are Beer Khadad, Zebairea and Jehiar by the cost 30.000 JD from the budget.
Complete the developing of the organization planning of the different areas in Al-Shoubak using the GIS system.
The municipality had agreed with the Finance ministry that the municipality will get the lands and building tax fees starting from 15/11/2007.
The services and promotion projects that will be done and taxpayer from outside favors :
(1) the municipality has been choose beside (8) other municipalities in Jordan from another (48) municipalities to use the municipalty's development programs and support the sharing with the population as the standards of the givers (The American Organization For Challenge The Thousand) in order to get about half million dollars as a taxpayer, this programme is controlled by USAID and done by ARD and this money will spend during the next two years in these fields:
- develop the organizer ability of the community (using the technology and practicing of the labors)
- develop the infra structures and the services.
- Promotion's projects , the projects are decided by the strategic planning consist workshop on 12 and 13 December in 2007 , that consist with the givers and the municipality (about80 participants) ,and they decided the following projects :
Doing a promotion project for Al-Shoubak (lands planning's inquiries) and tourism map by a cost more than 100.000JD.
(2) (72) municipalities were chosen and one of them is Al-Shoubak Municipality to use the local promotion project and the giver is International Bank -20 million Dollars- and the France management for the International promotion .
-18 million euro – and the project is two stages for 5 years ,and each municipality will have at the first stage (5,3) Dollars , will spend in the services projects , and the 2nd stage will be after an evaluation process for the municipality's activities .
Projects will be done at the first stage:
- paying and insertion 100 lighting units (Sodium)
- paying 50 garbage containers
- completing the project of the garden and the child's library (the cost is about 30 thousands JD)
(3) The municipality co-operate the garbage recycling project in Alfjaj area, and this project is given by the American management USAID, it will be done in 12 months begins in 15/10/2007.
(4) The municipality in a co-operation with the development for the ground water operate which controlled by American management USAID to find the solution for the apple's farms and the over using of water.
Projects are suggested to the king Abdullah and his personal adviser :
During the meeting of the promotion community – with his Majesty King Abdullah in the Royal palace and during the meeting in Princess Basma Center in Zebairai village with the personal counselor of the king Yosef Al Esawy the Mayor suggested some projects to develop Al-Shoubak area , which are the following :
- establish participant tourism and agricultural region for Al-Shoubak and Wadi Mossa.
- find a development projects in order to make good work's chances especially for the girls...as clothes factors.
-Develop the Army Healthy Station.
- Separate Al-Shoubak collogue of Al Balka`a Atatbekea University and link it with Al Houssian Bin Talal University.
To do all of those projects the Royal House ordered the following:
- The tourism ministry to study the participant region and Mrs. Ehab Ammareen the helper of the secretary general of the tourism ministry will control that studding.
- Al Houssian University to study the separating of Al-Shoubak collogues.
- The Royal Healthy Services to build a second floor on the Army Healthy Station.
- Both of communities and planning ministries to study the development projects.
Finally …. Al-Shoubak municipality will always be the development and services organizations for all popular in all their places as it can as be.
